When I visited the Louvre in Paris in 2023, I was enchanted by the still life oil paintings from the Renaissance period. This is an attempt to use Chinese traditional painting skills to re-create them.

Fenran is a special technique in Chinese traditional painting. It is widely used in Gongbi painting.

Chinese landscape painting, known as "shanshui" painting, stands at the pinnacle of East Asian art for its philosophical depth.

In popular understanding, negative space in Chinese painting refers to the deliberate preservation of "blank" areas within compositions, unmarked by brush or ink.

Boneless painting (Mogu technique) is a traditional Chinese painting method. This technique directly uses color or ink to paint flowers and leaves without "brush bones"—meaning without ink line outlines.
